A Proud Tradition

Lincoln East Forensics has enjoyed spectacular success during the past thirty years. 2009 marked the eighth year in a row that East was named Class A State Speech Champ. Since 1976, East has won 26 Nebraska State Speech Championships, and has been the State Runner-up 7 times. East has had 4 state NIT debate champs in the 9 years of NIT tournaments, and was State Debate Champ in 2007 and 2009.

On a national level, a steadily growing number of Spartans have qualified for the National Forensic League (NFL) tournament. For 2009, we have 16 qualifiers.
